October 1, 2018, ATRIEV (Adaptive Technology for Rehabilitation, Integration, and Empowerment of the Visually Impaired)Officials headed by Tony LLanes visited RPL Library as they inspect the venue for the program “Digital Literacy for the Blind” to be conducted on October 22-26, 2018. On the pipeline project is the conduct of Sign Language Learning Program for the Deaf in cooperation with 24-7 Intouch focused on job opportunities for PWDs.
Meeting with officers of BOOKSHARE; The world’s largest eLibrary. Is scheduled on October 13, 2018 for linkages.
On September 19, 2018 RPL submitted draft Resolution entitled “Approving the establishment of Malasakit corner at the Rizal Provincial Library for Digital Literacy of the Visually Impaired and other PWD’s to institutionalize the venue for PWDs development program.
